Has anyone completed their taxes and during a review before filing the system changes your filing status from married to single?

Are you saying the software changed your filing status?   Were you preparing a joint tax return?   Did you enter information for your spouse----name, Social Security number, etc.?   Or were you filing married filing separately?   When you preview your Form 1040 what does it show for the filing status near the top of the first page?

Yes, xmasbaby0. The software changed my filing status. I’ve been using TurboTax since 2010 and it has never done this before! It imported my previous years report, I actually completed my taxes, was doing a final review before filing and the system glitched, changed my status, and erased my husbands information

@sherekahouston We cannot tell what software you are using.  Are you using online TurboTax -- or are you using the desktop download?   If you are using desktop, which version are you using?

We have heard that some users experienced some strange effects of an update to desktop software on 9-11-2025.

Did you close your return and accidentally log back into the wrong account?   Try logging out and back in.   Maybe that will restore it.   Seems to me there was another post about this too.
