I am using the 2023 Premier desktop edition with a Windows 10 PC and am not seeing this problem when opening a New Form 1099-DIV in Forms mode.
Happening in H&B. My first auto reply answered a similar question stating to open a new 1099-DIV in forms by going through the step by step hoops. Marked as best answer.
I have HB on Windows. I went to Forms, then Open Form top of left column, typed in 1099 and picked 1099-Div under Schedule B and Open Form
Then got the Add Form 1099-Div box. You can enter a new one at the bottom. I can make a screenshot.
Have you updated the program? Go up to Online-Check for Updates. Then maybe close and reopen the program.
I have been using TT for around 30 years. I know what it used to do and what it not doing for me now. I am updated. Forms is no longer a friendly efficient place and has been getting less so for a couple of years. Last year I was also told to go to the magic window of SXS to get to where I was trying to go in forms. To the point of "you can't get there from there". And I do know how to jump to S&S and back. Just should not have to go through extra work and risk of missing a deduction because I am a 2nd class user because of liking forms view. Not liking the product much anymore.
