Are you from California and allegedly received it from the Franchise Tax Board? There is a SPAM going around, see below. If this is what you got, just ignore it. The FTB website is ftb.ca.gov. The website given below does not belong to the Franchise Tax Board. If in doubt, log on to your state department of revenue website and see if you can locate your account.
Most tax agencies do not send emails or texts. Since you filed your tax return back in January, I'd think any refund would have been processed and sent out.
