Got an email from TurboTax saying about a 50% off offer ($39.99 for Premier federal return), applied but got charged $69.99 instead. How to apply for a refund now? Thanks

Appreciate your comment. What if I didn't sign in through the promo email but re-loggined using the most recent TurboTax session open in my browser, the one where I left several days ago? Does it mean the promo credit wouldn't be applied in that case?

Go ahead and contact customer support to see if they can adjust your account. Let them know you received the promotional offer but made an error during the process.
