Good morning. when filling out the 1098-T in turbo tax, it does not give me an option to fill in box 2. where do i fill this information in?

Box 2 of the 1098-T is no longer valid or used beginning in 2018. If your 1098-T has an amount in box 2, that 1098-T is wrong. You will need to contact the issuer so they can issue you a corrected 1098-T.

Barring that, consider the amount in box 2 "as if" it's in box 1.
