German "W-2 Income" and foreign taxes

Situation:

We are arried before 2021. I was working whole 2021 in Georgia.  I am a German and a permanent resident in the US. My income is reported in my W-2.

My wife is a German too and was living and working 2021 mostly in Germany.  Her German Income from her employment  from a Germany employer  was not reportet oin a W- (because German company).

My wife also pay taxes on her income in 2021 in Germany for her German income.

She was more than 30 days in the US, while working remote for the German comapny.

QUESTION1: Where do I report the German income AND THE GERMAN TAXES WITHHELD FROM HER GERMAN INCOME?

German "W-2 Income" and foreign taxes

@marcehlers , I need a little bit more info to be able to provide an answer --- 1. what visa is your wife  on   or is she also a green card holder; 2.  what is the ratio of  your US wages  compared to her German wages;  3. When did you get married  and when did she enter  US; when did you enter the USA with Green Card or status adjusted; 4.does your spouse have an ITIN / SSN or ?

Both have green cards since 2016, married since 1999, ratio US70% (W2) Germany 30% wages. Both have SSN´s since 2016

German "W-2 Income" and foreign taxes

Report your wife's income as "foreign income" in TurboTax and claim a foreign tax credit or deduction for taxes paid to Germany.

For help reporting foreign income in TurboTax see What are Forms 2555 and 2555-EZ used for?

Your wife can claim a foreign earned income exclusion for income earned in Germany if she was overseas for 330 days in 2021.

See Foreign Earned Income Exclusion

For help entering a foreign tax credit or deduction in TurboTax see Where do I enter the foreign tax credit (Form 1116) or deduction for 2020?

I'm assuming both you an your wife's income will be taxable to Georgia if that is your joint primary residence..
