Form 8990

I am trying to filing the taxes using Turbotax and I have received the K1 and while entering the k-1 information, I have received the message to 'you may need to print and complete a copy of form 8990 and attach it to your return. 

1. It says - you may? How can I check whether I need to or not?

2. How can I attach the form? Any steps?

Turotax does not support form 8990, if you complete it you must attach it to your return and make adjustments in Turbotax for any amount allowed. You mus mail your return

sorry you don't meet this criteria for exclusion from filing.

A taxpayer is not
required to file Form 8990 if the taxpayer is
a small business taxpayer and does not
have excess business interest expense
from a partnership.
