Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit - only 1 person's allocation percentage on the 1095A is allowed for entry for "allocation of Policy Amts Information"

Turbo Tax only allows 1 person's allocation information to be copied over to the 8962 form for  Part IV - allocation of Policy Amounts Information. My wife has an account on the Health Insurance Market Place.  She, our son, and our daughter are all covered on her account.  My wife's health account has advance payment tax credits so the 8962 needs to be filled out.   The son and daughter are now out of college and are not listed as dependents on our joint 1040.  My wife is paying 100% of the insurance cost and my son and daughter are paying zero percent of the cost. My son and daughter are each filing their own 1040.  My son and daughter have entered a copy of my wife's 1095A on their 1040s and entered zero percent in the "shared Policy Allocation Information Worksheet at the bottom of the 1095A .  The 1095A "shared policy allocation information worksheet at the bottom of the 1095A is used to do single entry of  one individuals percentage allocation (i.e. not all 3 individuals covered on the insurance account.)  The 8962 form part IV - allocation of policy amt information is then populated from the "shared policy allocation information smart worksheet" at the bottom of the  entered 1095A for their respective 1040's.     The 8962 form does no allow for manual entry to enter the other two individuals covered on the health account.   The IRS instructions says to enter all 3 individuals percentages on their 8962 so they all add up to 100%.    How does each individual enter all 3 percentages on their 8962?

In the case of a shared policy where you want to allocate a different % to each policy holder, you would need to enter all the allocations.

If your wife is claiming 100% of the allocations, your children simply enter the 1095-A and indicate 0% as their allocation.

Since the policy number is listed on all returns, the IRS won't have a problem seeing that 100% allocation is on your return, and 0% on the other two.

The IRS instructions refer to a situation where %'s are being allocated among policyholders.

Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit - only 1 person's allocation percentage on the 1095A is allowed for entry for "allocation of Policy Amts Information"

Thank you for the reply which covers my specific need.   That said, Turbotax does not allow for multiple individuals allocation percentage to be entered on  Part IV Allocation of Policy Amounts Information on the 8962.  Out of curiosity, I did a copy of my daughters turbo-tax file and then entered that she was responsible for 20% of the insurance cost on the 1095A.  I then went to the associated 8962 form to see if I could manually enter the other two individuals percentages on this 8962.  Turbo tax restricts any entries directly on the 8962. Overrides are not allowed on Part IV "Allocation of Policy Amounts Information" on the 8962.   As you suggested, the only option for the IRS to confirm all allocation percentages add up to 100 is to reference the original 1095, look up the other individuals on the policy , and then access each individual's 8962 to confirm they add up to 100%.
