If I enter the full 9-digit routing number, I get an error -- too many digits! And of course won't take the account number, either, because that's 8 digits. What do I do about that, just enter the first four digits of the routing number?
thanks!

Please clarify where you are entering a bank account number in TurboTax Business.
Estimated tax payment by paper check. I'm supposed to enter the routing number but TTax allows only four digits to be entered.
More specifically: Tax Payments Worksheet / Part I / Information for Electronic Filing / Payment Method: Check / Bank Acct Num: only 4 digits permitted.
So do I simply enter the first four digits of the account number?
Or is it actually asking for the CHECK NUMBER?
Thanks!

Well, I've been using TTax for 1040 since DOS days, so about 1994 and for 1041 since 2000, and I always thought "help" was provided by clicking on Help on the black line at the top of the screen! (And I never did find it very helpful!)
Thank you!
