Yes, Uber does provide a discount on your tax return through their website. Please refer to the instructions below.

To receive your Uber discount, you have to go to your Uber account and click Tax Information. Scroll down and click the picture that says File for Free with TurboTax Self-Employed. That link will lead you to a page that says Start for Free/Sign In. You may need to sign out and sign back into your account in order to see the discount.  

If you followed the steps above and your Uber discount has not been applied, try deleting your cookies. Then: 

1. Go back to the website provided by Uber and select the TurboTax link or icon.  

   • This will take you to the Uber site with the discounted pricing. 

2. Sign in to TurboTax and be sure to select the Take me to my return button. 

3. Select Tax Tools on the left, and then Tools. 

4. Now select the My Fees button. It should show the discount.
