For some reason the adoptive child area is filled out and I'm not sure how that happened. How can I fix it ? How do I go back to that page?

You need to edit the personal information for the dependent.  Sign in to your account.  Click on 'Take Me to My Return'.  Click on 'Personal Info' at the top.  Click through the screen until you get to your list of dependents.  Click on Edit next to each dependent, unless you know which dependent is causing the error, and check how the dependent is listed.

See the image attached, and make sure you did not click ''Adopted'' on each dependent.  TurboTax won't generate the Adoption credit form unless you tell it that one of your dependents is adopted.    

You may need to take the extra step, of answering NO in the adoption credit interview.  To do this, search for ''adoption credit'' in the search box at the top.  Click the ''Jump to adoption credit'' and answer NO.
