For my state return, I had 2 separate work locations since I moved in the middle of the year. Do I need to allocate my wages? Can I split them between cities?

Did the employer(s) withhold tax for a local tax?  Do you have amounts in boxes 18, 19 or 20 on your W-2?    Or do you live in an area in which there are city/local taxes to which you are subject?

With regard to your state income taxes, you do not need to allocate your wages unless you moved to a different state during the tax year.
