For form 8615, it states that parents' taxable income can be found on their 1040 line 11b. But there is no line 11b on our 1040. Taxable income on 2020 1040 is line 15.

I just want this corrected and also to confirm that line 15 from parents' 1040 is what we are to enter for our daughter's form 8615.

what year 8615 are you looking at the 2020 form for lines 4,6 and 7 want the amount form line 15. or is this the line Turbotax is asking for. 

line 11b would be for the 2019 form 8615.  have you run updates.

Yes, you are correct. For 2020, your taxable income is on your 1040, Line 15. Please use your income from this line. For 2019, your taxable income would be on your 1040, Line 11b.

I was going through the questions asked in Turbo tax online.  I was able to look at the 2019 and 2020 forms and figure it out, but the information is wrong in the current software when doing 2020 tax return.
