For 2018 taxes how much are we going to pay in 2019? or is it still going to file free?

The online software will not be available until late November/December.  But here is a link to the versions and pricing.

That page doesn't reflect it yet, but usually there is also a free state return in the Free Edition until later in filing season.  The last couple of years it has been called the "Absolute Zero" promotion.   We won't know the actual details for 2018 returns until online TurboTax opens in early December.

TurboTax also has another free product (Freedom Edition) that starts up in mid-January each year, for users who qualify to use it.  It's free for both Federal and State returns if one meets one of the qualifications.  It doesn't have form limitations like the regular Free Edition.   More info about it will be available in January.
