Mother past away do I due her taxes like I did when I was careing for her.She was blind I am her son same addresssame account .she died and had taxes with held like alway

Mother on hospice I her son and care giver did not work just cared for blind terminally ill parent. Last year filed her taxes and did direct deposit. This year only 6 months of deductions

First, my condolences for your loss.  

If you are the personal representative for your mom, then you would prepare her tax return in the same manner it previously has been.

When you enter her personal information, you will come to the "Do any of these apply to XXX" screen You will need to select Passed away before filing her return and enter the date of passing
