If you use your car only for business purposes, you may deduct its entire cost of ownership and operation (subject to limits discussed later). However, if you use the car for both business and personal purposes, you may deduct only the cost of its business use.
If you did not keep a mileage log, you cannot deduct the mileage. See Topic No. 510 Business Use of Car | Internal Revenue Service. If you can reasonably re-create your records, you may be able to deduct, but know if the IRS audits you, you will have to have excellent records.
Your social security income may be taxable depending on your other income. You should enter your social security income into TurboTax so it can calculate if you owe any tax on it.
