Filling Out a MA Estimated Tax Form

When one fills out the Federal estimated tax forms, one can enter an amount to pay, and the rest of form automatically populates with name, etc.  When I apply this same methodology to the MA estimated tax form, nothing happens.  Some fields (e.g., name/address) will not even accept manual inputs.  Obviously, I am missing something somewhere!

Filling Out a MA Estimated Tax Form

Can you clarify if you filled out the estimated tax payments for the state under the federal entry?  To enter under federal, follow these steps:

  1. Select Deductions and Credits
  2. Select Estimated Tax Payments
  3. Select 2024 State Estimated Tax Payments

Filling Out a MA Estimated Tax Form

Hi, Britany S. --

Thanks for the quick response.  I may have confused the subject.  I was trying to fill out the estimated NJ tax form for this April, 2025.  When in the NJ return, I went to Forms and downloaded the NJ 2025 estimated tax form for quarters one and two.  I used the same procedure that I use for obtaining Federal estimated tax forms for 2025.  I also checked the NJ estimated worksheet, but the only lead there was to select that TT not make an estimate for the figure to enter (i.e., I will do it myself type of thing).  It may be that one has to print out the form and manually fill in the blanks, which is not a big deal, but I was hoping that TT could populate the missing fields.

My text in the preceding message should refer to MA estimated tax forms for 2025, not NJ.

My regrets.
