Filling out 1099-r for wife and myself. Turbo tax is replacing mine with hers or hers with mine, resulting in only one being saved.

For some reason we are able to enter only one 1099-r.

Have you tried this:

First:

1.  Click Federal on the left-hand side menu.

2.  Click Income across the top.

3.  Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security and click Show more.

4.  Click Start or Revisit by IRA, 401(k), Pension Plan Withdrawals (1099-R).

Then go and delete the two entries, so you start out without anything there.  Then, enter yours first.  

Click +Add Another 1099-R in blue underneath Total Withdrawals.  Enter hers.  You should have both, that will carry to Form 1040, line 4a and b.

Have you tried this:

First:
