I filed with TurboTax online last year but this year decided to purchase the CD. Unfortunately, the information from last year's return, in order to make it easy to file is not showing up. Does anyone know what to do about that?

You need to have last year's .tax file on your computer to make sure that TurboTax Desktop updates and carries forward any figures that need to be updated.
To download your .tax file, sign in to your TurboTax online account, scroll down on the first page until you get to Your Tax Return and Documents. Click Show, then 2018, and then click download .tax file.
When I go to download last year's .tax file I get the following error...."The file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action". How to proceed?
