Filing fees:can you help me? my refund has already been sent to me. I don't understand why the fees were not deducted before it was sent?

I am out of work now and the fees are now going to be deducted on the 26th.

So you got the full refund?  Then you should leave enough in your account to cover the fees when they pull it out.

My refund went to my student loans. I didnt receive any of it.

Awwww,  sorry you still owe the fees.  The IRS doesn't take the fees out for Turbo Tax.  They only get the fee deducted AFTER the IRS sends it.  So if the IRS kept it Turbo Tax couldn’t take the fee out.  At least you will be saving the extra 39.99 Refund Processing Service charge (44.99 in California).

I wish that would have been explained in your information. Right now I dont have enough to cover the fees until I get unemployment next month.
