Filing a w-2 for my 15 year old grandson, that was living in my household. His w-2 gross income is $3400.00

My Grandson has a w-2 for 2016 he lives in my home, what do I do about his w-2 and will it decrease my tax return.

He will have to file a separate tax return, and he only has to do if he had taxes withheld (He will get a refund).  If you are claiming him as a dependent, be sure to indicate that "someone else can claim him as a dependent" so the correct exemption is applied.  His income will not affect your tax return.
