Filed my taxes using DoItYourself Premium; I owe. I remember putting in my bank information to pay, but I don't see the payment processed. Do I pay irs.gov?

I'm just hoping to avoid double payment and I can't "get back" to where I provided that payment information in TurboTax.

Call IRS e-file Payment Services 24/7 at 1-888-353-4537 to inquire about your payment.

If you want to check the debit date you specified, look on the filing instructions for your return.  It will tell you the debit date the IRS or State will deduct the payment.  If you did not print them out you can view them using the following steps:

If you filed using TurboTax Online, the Electronic Filing Instructions page will give that info.

Here's how to view the PDF copy:

  1. Sign in to TurboTax and open your return.
  2. On the Tax Home screen, scroll to Your tax returns & documents and select Add a State (don't worry, you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right area) to access your tax forms and worksheets.
  3. In the menu, select Tax Tools, then Print Center.
  4. On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year’s return.
  5. On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2025 Federal return and Include government and TurboTax worksheets, then select View or print forms.
  6. The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions, for your 2025 Federal Tax Return, next to Balance Due/Refund.

TurboTax CD/Download

  1. Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar.
  2. In the Forms in My Return list on the left, click Filing Inst.  [It's usually toward the bottom of the list.]  The form will appear on the right side of the screen.
  3. You can view the form on the screen or you can print a copy by clicking the Print box at the bottom of the screen.
  4. To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar.

The payment information will be on the Filing Instructions for the tax return and it will be on the Federal Information Worksheet in Part V.  You need to use Print Center and the option for all worksheet if download a PDF from the online editions.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.

This will take you back to the 2025 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return.  Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
