Filed my taxes online, have my mom as a dependent because i pay her bills and buy her personal items. Why is it showing $0 What did I do wrong?

The most your mom would bring you as a dependent would be a $500 credit, and that credit can only be used to reduce your tax liability to zero, it doesn't pay you back any cash.  If you've already reached the point of owing no tax, that credit won't help you.  Dependent tax law changed a great deal for 2018 .
