Hi there,
I'm extremely confused. I am not even seeing an option to file using the online version, it's trying to force me through a process of paying for more software. To add insult to injury, when I pull up my downloads, I'm not even sure if I was charged multiple times because I'm seeing multiple orders with the same name?
Do I HAVE to install desktop software? (I don't even have a desktop computer, only a laptop, so I'm perplexed) and if so, how do I get a refund for the stuff I've already paid for? Thanks in advance!

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2021 have shut down for the season. To complete and file a 2021 tax return using TurboTax you will need to purchase, download and install one of the 2021 desktop editions on a personal computer, desktop or laptop, Windows or Mac operating system.
Your post shows you ordered the 2021 Deluxe online edition and requested to use the Refund Processing Service. Meaning that you wanted to pay for the online editions with your federal tax refund.
Did you pay for the online edition with a credit card? If so, do you have a payment to Intuit/TurboTax showing on your credit card account?

If you have proof of payment for the online edition, contact TurboTax support so they can push a 2021 installation file to your download account .

extension for what year? it's too late to file for 2021 and probably too early to file for 2022.
2022 online is not available until December
if you are trying to prepare 2021 that can only be done by buying a desktop version - full PC or MAC . efiling and online preparation are closed for 2021.
what you may have bought is the 2021 app (call support for a refund if you really wanted 2022)
to download 2022 app for desktop installation (laptops work too if they meet system requirements) and preparation here's the link

however, if what you want to do is prepare online there is nothing to download. you create an account choose a version and start but as I stated online is not yet available.

Fully on me, this is quite stupid, but I filed an extension a while back when taxes were due and then completely forgot until recently :( Fully know that's my fault, but was confused how to rectify the situation ASAP.
Yes, I paid for it already. Thank you, I'll try to reach someone and get that done. Fingers crossed!
