How do I file for my federal taxes for 2018 & 2019?

To file your 2018 taxes using TurboTax you will need to install software on your computer.  You can find that software here: TurboTax 2018 Tax Products.

To file 2019 you can choose to download your program or you can file using our easy-to-use online platform at TurboTax.com.   On the main TurboTax site, you will see the options for both the download product and the online product with guidance to help you choose the product that is best for you.

Note that your 2018 tax return will need to be mailed, and may be processed after your 2019 tax return.  This does not cause any difficulty for most taxpayers, although in some cases the 2019 refund may be delayed until the 2018 return is processed (this does not happen the majority of the time.)
