Fidelity has 1099 consolidated forms ready, but TurboTax is saying they are not ready. How can I work around this to import all these income numbers?

Correct.

The paper/PDF downloads are ready a week or more before the specially-formatted tax files that can be imported.  They are entirely different formats.

(somewhere I saw a date in late Feb...but cannot find it now....last year they said the same thing, but had the special tax import files ready a couple weeks earlier.  Fidelity has historically been  generously conservative to avoid over promising an availability date)
