Federal & State keeps getting rejected! (F8962-070)

Ok this is seriously getting annoying. Every year it's always something with turbo tax. So I never signed up for any healthcare plan in 2024, but it keeps giving me this error after rejecting my taxes. I went to Healthcare.gov and nothing is popping up. Last time I submitted anything was 2015.

Federal & State keeps getting rejected! (F8962-070)

If you are receiving this rejection from the IRS, there is either a SSN in your household that is associated with the Marketplace, or the question "Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan?" is marked yes.

Here is what TurboTax provides on rejection code F8962-070.  "Your return may have been rejected if the IRS has information that someone in your household should have a 1095-A.

If you don't have a Form 1095-A and know you won't be receiving one, you can certify this in TurboTax Online/Mobile in order to refile your return:

  1. Go to the Did you receive Form 1095-A for your health insurance plan? screen.
  2. You'll be asked if you received a 1095-A. Select No. By selecting this certification, you will be able to e-file your return and meet the requirements under rejected code F8962-070.
  3. Select File from the left menu and continue through the process to resubmit your return."
