My federal and state tax returns were rejected because the IRS reported my dependent reported himself as not being claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer. I had my college age son amend his return to not claim himself as a dependent about a month ago. The IRS already processed that amended return. Yet the IRS is still rejecting the e-filed federal return. The state is rejecting the e-filing because the feds rejected it. The only solution is to file my paper returns. Will Turbo Tax refund the $25 state e-file fee?
