Federal and State estimated taxes for 2025

I just learned that I will have capital gains from the sale of commercial property in April 2025. I have already filed my 2024 return. Must I amend that return to figure estimated tax on the gains for 2025 or just file the necessary forms the IRS and my state requires to estimate the tax?

No, you do not have to file an amended return. You can pay the estimated taxes directly to the IRS and/or state, or go back to TurboTax and print the vouchers.
