You need to file the Wisconsin long form, Form 1, [not short form, Form 1A] because you reported alimony income on your federal return. Wisconsin tax forms have not yet been finalized in TurboTax.
To make sure Form 1 is used and that your alimony income is accounted for please follow these steps:
- Go back into your WI return.
- Go into Forms Mode by clicking on the Forms icon in the top right of the blue bar.
- In the Forms in My Return list on the left, under Wisconsin Individual, click on the Info Worksheet
- Make sure the box for Form 1 is marked.
- To return to the interview, click on the Step-By-Step icon in the top right of the blue bar.
