I am from CA (many people with this issue are) and received the failed validation error middle of March 2025. I have used TT for decades wo any trouble before.
I chose not to try any of the 'fixes' in the discussions that included maunal downloads or uninstall and reinstall.
I did just have patience....for 4 or 5 days in a row I "updated" turbo tax with their button at the top left menu bar. Usually it was quick and said it was done - but i still got the error. Finally it went through a longer update (it specifically showed CA actually..ticking up the % complete and took a few minutes). As soon as that was done my taxes went through without issue.
I hope this helps someone! I was very frustrated and customer service claimed I was the only one with this issue when I called them.. clearly not the case.
