F-1 (OPT) to H-1B in the last quarter of 2017. Am I still a non-resident for tax purposes?

I switched from F-1 (OPT) status to H-1B October 2017. Should I still be filing as a non-resident? I first arrived in the US (as a student) in July 2013.

As a H1-B visa holder, you will be considered a United States resident for tax purposes if you meet the substantial presence test for the calendar year.
