Extension for 2025 not on IRS Transcripts

I filed my extension with Turbo Tax on April 1st. I received the automated Turbo Tax email stating the extension was accepted. As of today, May 18th, the IRS transcripts show Tax Return not filed and there's no record of an extension.

@Pk020915 , as long as you file before Oct 15th., there is no essential effect of an extension ( approved or otherwise). You are still liable for interest and possible penalty , depending on exact facts and circumstances. Just ignore the situation and file your return as soon as you can. It is more important to make sure that any taxes due are paid by the April dead line or as soon thereafter.
