Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Every year I file taxes jointly for me and my wife. This year my wife started to receive paychecks from DSHS. Do I need to file them as well?

If the answer is yes, I need to know which TurboTax package to use.

If DSHS stands for the "Department of Social and Health Services" and the payments are welfare benefits, then you do not report them on your tax return.

If she is working for DSHS and receiving a "paycheck", she will also get a Form W-2 and you will have to report that W-2 on your tax return.
