Every time I fill out a schedule H for a nanny, my return goes down the exact same as the taxes i withheld/paid this year already. Did I miss filling out something else?

I got a lot of tax forms from the nanny payroll i signed up for, do I need to fill out something else to reflect I already had the federal taxes withheld?

In TurboTax, have you entered the payments that you made as estimated payments so that they will be correctly applied?

If you made estimated tax payments in 2025 towards your federal, state, or local taxes, enter them in the Estimated and Other Income Taxes Paid section.

In TurboTax Online, enter the estimated tax payments as follows:

  1. Down the left side of the screen, click on Federal.
  2. Down the left side of the screen, click on Deductions and credits.
  3. Click the down arrow to the right of Estimates and Other Taxes Paid.
  4. Click to the right of Estimated Tax Payments.
  5. Select Federal estimated taxes for 2025.
  6. Enter the amount of estimated tax you paid at each of the quarterly due dates

thanks, the kicker was the nanny service did it on my behalf, so had to verify that the withheld taxes were indeed sent and then fill out estimated taxes paid.  appreciate it
