Estimated Taxes paid in 2026 showing as credit on 2025 returnTurbo Tax is giving me credit for it on

I made 4 estimated tax payments, the last being in January of 2026.  For some reason Turbo Tax is giving me credit for all 4 as if they were all paid in 2025.  I can't find a way to adjust that so the IRS doesn't spank me.  Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you made an estimated federal tax payment on or before 01/15/2026 it will be included with 2025 tax payments on the Form 1040 Line 26.

You don't need to worry. It is properly included as a credit to 2025, because early 2026 Q4 payments due 1/15 (and also extension payments due 4/15) are on time, and can be used to reduce your 2025 tax.
