Estate Tax Filing

We live in PA. my mother passed in 2018. I did her final taxes in 2019. I established an estate and completed the estate tax filing in 2019. However, there were 2 stock sales finalized in 2019 as I settled the estate ($2500 total), this was listed on the estate tax filing. I have a 1099-B from both investment companies. Do I need to do any other filing for these 1099-B?

No, if the 1099-B were reported on the 1041 you do not have to file elsewhere.

It sounds like the Form 1041 was filed in 2019 for tax year 2018.

If this is the case, you need to file another 1041 for 2019 because the income was over $600.

In 2018, when she passed we completed a regular individual tax return.

In 2019, we did a REV-1500 through our lawyer.

I do not see a 1041 or PA-41 for 2019.

The estate earned income over $600 in 2019, right? That means you need to file a 2019 Form 1041 this year.
