ES-1040 payment voucher - DO NOT FILE - FORM NOT FINAL - 2/16/26

Just finished doing and submitted our 2025 taxes - 2/16/26

Now wanted to print our 1st ES-1040 estimated tax voucher. 

The printed form has a

DO NOT FILE - FORM NOT FINAL watermark across it ???

I was using the "print specific forms" option - 

wonder what might change - it's just a voucher ....

1040-ES is not considered ready until 2/25, see below.  Not sure what about it isn't ready but I see IRS only just published instructions for 1040-ES last week on 2/12.

So check back later - but also suggest avoid sending vouchers and checks if possible, you can pay online at irs.gov.

filed last week - needed to file ES-1040 before going on long trip during March - 

Opened TTax today - 2/27/26 - updated the software - went to Print Specific Forms - 

and YES - was able to print my ES-1040 vouchers..... without watermark messages - 

Done - tnx - 

BTW - where or how did you get that listing of the forms that are "ready" ?
