Entering renter credit, I select yes and then next a 2nd screen to select a type if care facility. I do not live in a facility the system forces you to select other care.

I’m having the same problem. It’s not check boxes, it’s the bubbles, so it can’t be unchecked.

I was able to replicate this issue.  You can solve the problem by going to Tax Tools on the left of your screen, then Tools, then select Delete a form.  Choose the trash can next to Schedule M1RENT: Renter's Credit. 

Now, you can go back to Minnesota and proceed through the interview, ensuring no bubble is checked on the care facility screen.
