Entered 1098T Not Calculating Taxable Amount

I entered my daughters 1098T in EDUCATION - Expenses and Scholarships.   The scholarship amount is approximately $10k greater than Box 1 tuition amount which should be taxable.  However, all the information is entered but it is not picking up the difference as taxable income.  I saw a prior post that suggested the cache could be causing issue so i deleted the Form 1098-T for her, saved the file and exited and restarted computer.  Opened file and added her 1098-T again with same result.  It is not picking up the $10k income.  Please help.-

Why do you believe it is not being treated as taxable income?  Where are you looking for it? Does she have other income?

The excess scholarship income should show up on Schedule 1 line 1r.

Hi.

Nothing is showing up on Schedule 1 line 1r even the the excess is for room and board and should be taxable.

You may see the excess scholarship reported as Income on Schedule 1, Line 8z (you may have to scroll to see it if you have other items).
