If you are getting the message that enrollment status must be entered in your TurboTax program, it usually happens in TurboTax when a Form 1098-T is entered without specifying if the student was at least half-time. Be sure to re-select your enrollment status (For example: at least half-time, full-time, or less than half-time).
To fix this, you can delete and re-enter your Form 1098-T using the steps listed below.
To delete Form 1098-T if you are using TurboTax Online:
To delete Form 1098-T if you are using TurboTax Desktop, you can:
To re-enter your Form 1098-T and review your entries, you can:
In some cases, deleting the student as a dependent and re-adding them, then re-entering the 1098-T, is necessary to resolve the issue.

I keep getting the same message, and there is nothing for me to fill in anywhere. The message has to be a glitch because it is misspelled as "Person on the Retun Worksheet: Enrollmentstatus must be entered." It won't direct me to anything specific. I have gone over every step several times for the past 2 hours, and there is nothing that allows me to fix it or bypass it to efile.
Did you try following the steps provided by @LindaS5247 in response to another user in the post above yours?
The message about "enrollmentstatus" typically refers to there being a student on the return whose enrollment status needs to be verified in the Form 1098-T section, or an issue with Form 1099-Q. The recommended solution is to delete the Form 1098-T and/or 1099-Q that has the error and enter the information again correctly.

I had the same problem, and deleting the 1099-Q did not help. (My dependent's high school did not provide a 1098-T.) TurboTax kept recreating the problematic worksheet, complete with the same error. Ironically the enrollment status was marked with an X on the 'Yes' on that form, and TurboTax would not allow me to change it. What did finally work for me was to delete the forms and worksheet, completely delete my dependent out of TurboTax, save and close TurboTax, and then re-open and re-add. Praying that that did not mess something else up; my return was accepted, so far so good.
The same thing happened to me. Very frustrating to have to print & send tax returns. The program is supposed to work, and it's not cheap. Maybe it's time to switch to a better program.
