Employer hasn’t released my W2

My previous employer as of March 12 2021 has still not made my W2 (Paper nor digital copy) available to me, I’ve contacted them multiple times for the last month and I keep getting the run around saying I’ll have it by the end of the week but they’ve been saying that for weeks. Is there anything I can do to get my W2 before the filing deadline??

at this point in the season you're supposed to contact IRS.

They will tell you how to proceed.

It may be difficult to contact IRS.
