Employee Sponsored Medical Insurance

My employer sponsored medical insurance is paid 60% by the employer and 40% pre-tax by me through my pay. This is not on my W2 but is on my pay stub. Can I deduct the 40% as medical insurance premiums?

Employee Sponsored Medical Insurance

No, since it is being paid pre-tax it is not included in your taxable income. If you added this again, you would be getting a double tax break for the same payments.
