Electronically Filed Using TT. How do I get a copy of my return?

For tax year 1999, I filed electronically using Quicken TurboTax Refund Complete (Windows 95/98).  How do I get a copy of my federal tax return?

TurboTax only retains online tax returns for a period of 7 years, the same retention period as the IRS.  The 1999 tax return is no longer available.

why do you need it?

For 1999, I'm pretty-sure I forgot to file Form 8606 for my after-tax contributions to my IRA.  Thus, if I could get the return, I'd know if it did, or didn't, include my 8606.

No one maintains records of a return from that far back.  You will have to go with your assumption on this and make your best guess.
