Efile rejected for incorrect prior year AGI deceased taxpayer

The tax return is being rejected for incorrect 'SpousePriorYearAGIAmt'.  The amount entered was pulled from the prior year in Turbo Tax, matches the taxpayer and has been confirmed as correct against the prior year tax form.  The spouse is deceased.  I've seen several posts here over the years with the same problem. The only solution was to confirm the amount.  I've done that.  What's next?  If I have to mail the return, how do I get refunded state e-file fees?

You can try zero.  If that gets rejected then click the option that you did not pay taxes last year and AGI will not be needed.

You can try using zero, because that does work in certain situations. If it doesn't work for you, you may need to contact customer service directly for assistance. Please see the following information here for more details.

The $0 worked.  Thought I had tried that but thankful you prompted me to confirm.  Thank you.
