As of 2/13/2026 I am still getting the message that "Tax year 2025 transmissions not available. Turbotax Business is not ready to process tax year 2025 for this return." The return is an 1120s and as far as I can see there aren't any forms listed as not ready, the software was updated today, and error checks have come back clean. How do I find out what the problem is?

Same issue here.
TurboTax Business, S-Corp, GA.
Federal and State Reviews say no errors. Manually checked for updates, it says "Your software is up to date."
If you are having trouble e-filing your Georgia S-Corp tax return, please note that the Forms Availability Table indicates that many GA state forms won't be ready to e-file until February 20, 2026.
However, if you're unable to e-file your federal Form 1120S, it would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2025" file that is experiencing this issue for further testing. You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information. If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:
We will attempt to determine the cause of your experience and possibly provide you with a resolution.

I am also having the same problem e-filing my 2025 Federal and Georgia Business tax returns.
Tax Year 2025 transmission are not available... TurboTax Business is not ready to process tax year 2025 for this return.
I was able to file the federal business return by itself and the return was accepted.
Earlier comments to this tread indicated that some GA forms will not be ready until 2/20/2026 (today). After I make this post I will go to the link to check for any updates to the release date.
It's too bad that TurboTax can't be more upfront about release dates in the program or have a link in the program to the website with the release dates.
Here is a link to all TurboTax business forms availability
I got this using a google search. It's too bad that this was not readily available in TurboTax and TurboTax does not come out and say the required State Tax forms are not ready to e-file until after you press the submit button. It seems like TurboTax is trying to push us to use paid tax return preparers.
Thanks for your info, I was finally able to transmit my files. Too bad the software won't tell us the actual issue.
It appears several of us are having problems transmitting Georgia Partnership returns. The product availability date for Georgia continues to show 2/20/26. Today is 2/25/26. I've checked for updates and TurboTax tells me I'm up to date. Current installed updates show program up date as of 2/18/26 and Georgia Partnership as of 2/12/26.
So tell me if the last Georgia update was 2/12/26 and the forms were available on 2/20/26, should the last Georgia partnership update be after 2/20/26?
Please see [number removed]
I don't have a screen shot. My federal return was transmitted and accepted several days ago. Its Georgia on my mind.
2PM update 2/25/26 I did not close the TurboTax file before lunch. Came back after a short nap and the transmit button screen was still up. Rather than close I tried again ( I just love rejection and error messages). This time it transmitted.
I don't know if it was lunch, the nap, all the posts about the problem, or they finally fixed the problem, but it worked. 😁
I am having the exact same issue. (March 2, 2026). My TurboTax updated this morning. Why won't my tax file transmit?
In your message you said you were having the same problem with transmitting your return. Our issue was that we could not file partnership returns with the State of Georgia. It turned out that the State of Georgia was not accepting business tax returns until Feb 26. So are you trying to file a partnership return with the State of Georgia? Form 700? If so have lunch and take a nap, It worked for me. That is we had to wait until the State of Georgia started to accept business returns.
Now if you are trying to transmit some other return, our solution is no help to you.
My guess is you are trying to transmit your personal (form 1040) and a state return. Some general guidance is to transmit your federal return separate from your state return. Transmit your federal return first. by selecting the state return as I will file later. If that works you know your federal return has no problems. Then file the state return.
If you have problems rerun the error checking program again. Look at your data and see if you have any errors such as extra spaces like after your middle initial. look for blank spaces that should have zeros like where you have added a title or description but no related value.
There is a whole lot more items that could be wrong. If these hints don't work submit your question again as a new issue and give as much information as possable.
