As you have already filed, please wait to see if your return is accepted or rejected. If rejected, you may correct and resubmit. If it is accepted, you need to file an amended return.
You can change dependents by deleting your 19-year-old daughter and adding your 16-year-old son.
If you are expecting a refund, we recommend that you wait to amend until after the IRS has processed your original return and you have received your refund.
