E-Filing requires an update to my version of Turbo Tax. However, there is an error and it won't update. No solution was found. We followed instructions to manually fore the update but the e-filing won't transmit. Now what???

So that we can best assist you, what version of TurboTax are you using that is requiring the update?

I am running the Deluxe version

I' try reinstalling the application from the CD or original download file.  You will have all the work you have completed because TurboTax keeps the discrete data file completely separate.  I think I would also start back at the beginning and rapidly through the step by step to assure that you don't have a missed step or something.  Lastly, the checking routines are very good and if you use them it should clear all errors and allow filing.  

By the way I've been using TurboTax since the 1985 Tax Year and the filing process is the most complex operation in the Application  -  you have to watch that you do every step exactly.
