Duplicate SSN rejection for 2025 MFJ return. No confirmation email/text. Did IRS already receive it? Should I wait, resubmit, or mail?

Married filing jointly. No one filed separately. Entered IP PINs for both spouses. No child PIN. Each resubmission rejected as duplicate SSN. No acceptance email yet.

If you used TurboTax Online, you can see the status of your return on  the Tax Home screen of your account.  You should have also received emails updating you on your return status.  

If you used TurboTax Desktop:

Select File.

Select Check E-file status.

First check that you are using your current year's  IP PINs. New ones are issued each year. If it was your child's SSN that was compromised, you'll ned an IP PIN for them

When your return is rejected, you should get an email stating the reason. A rejected return is never accepted, so as of now, apparently, you have not yet filed your 12025 return
