Once you have selected Pay By Check in order to facilitate the delayed payment, can you then later submit payment over the IRS website or through TurboTax? Or, are you committed to submitting payment by check at that point? I live overseas so submitting electronic payments are easier.

Thanks for this answer. Is there any way to delay payment of an electronic payment that's already scheduled on taxes already filed in TurboTax, besides calling the IRS 888 number? Can I go into Amend Return in TurboTax?
"You can’t change your payment date in TurboTax after your return has been accepted but you can cancel it and make other payment arrangements with the IRS.
Federal tax direct debit payments can be canceled up to 2 business days prior to the debit date. To cancel, call the IRS on (888) 353-4537, but please wait 7-10 days after your return has been accepted.
